Jocelyn is a forward and has played soccer since she was 4. In addition to playing for the school soccer team, she ran track. Outside of sports, she enjoys listening to music, painting and photography. She has maintained straight As and has gotten accepted into several colleges. Her heart is set on being a pediatric nurse.
Isabella Armendariz Diaz
Isabella started playing soccer when she was 7. In addition to being a part of La Habra Girls Soccer, she is active in FFA and enjoys raising live stock. She enjoys going on hikes and to the beach. After graduation, she will attend Fullerton College and work towards her goal of becoming an athletic trainer.
Outside of playing soccer as a left/center back, Mandy enjoys hiking, running and surrounding herself with nature. She counts being positive and accepting life’s challenges as two of her most recent accomplishments. She plans on majoring in animal science to help animals in needs, and she looks forward to going on many more adventures.
Ashlyn plays forward on the Varsity team. She’s been playing soccer since she was 7. She’s involved in the Heritage program and FFA. She acknowledges it’s been a tough year given COVID-19 and can’t wait to see what the team can accomplishment when they are able to return to the field.
A member of the Varsity team since her freshman year, Iliana started playing soccer when she was 5. She’s involved in AP Heritage and National Honor Society. This determined young lady has been in the top 25 of her class every year at La Habra. Outside of school, she enjoys time with friends and family, helping out at church, and taking trips to the beach. She plans to attend a four-year university to major in psychology and study brain sciences before enjoying a career in the medical field.
Casandra’s love for soccer began when she started playing at age 5. Her position on the La Habra Girls Soccer team is right center back. When not on the field, you can find her painting, binge watching “The Office,” listening to music, and hanging out with her boyfriend. Her future goals are to attend college and land a career in the medical field.
Janneth, a goalkeeper, started playing soccer when she was 4. When not on the soccer field, she practices mixed martial arts, including Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, boxing and kickboxing. She also plays about 14 different instruments. Having suffered many injuries, she’s interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.
